Mrs. Ferguson had retired from Kitco in Bluffton after more than 25 years of service. She also had worked at Hosiery Mills in Georgia and at the Bluffton Cannery.
She was born Jan. 25, 1924, in Walker County, Ga., to McKinley and Allie (Watts) McKinley. She married Lewis E. Ferguson Jan. 1, 1954, in Rossville, Ga.; her husband preceded her in death July 8, 1980.
Survivors include a son, Eddie L. (Deneise) Ferguson of Ossian; a daughter, Cathy Sage of Bluffton; six grandchildren — Crystal and Chad, and Kali, Karly, Tyler, and Ryan; one great-granddaughter — Allie; and four sisters, Ruby Milligan, Ruth Harris, and Sis Baker, all of Lafayette, Ga., and Linda King of Bluffton.
